microsoft did not make it so windows can recognize ps4 controllers (doesnt matter if its dualshock 4 third party or whatever) so it does have something to do with them. actually it does you see microsoft made it so first party xbox controllers could be recognized by windows (third party controllers like afterglow controllers need to be manually set to use controller drivers or they wont function). The PS4 controller not working as has nothing to do with MSFT.
